Outside Edge collaborates with key workers, social prescribers and other health and care professionals to support those affected by and at risk of addiction. Our trauma-informed activities provide a unique, asset-based approach to recovery and wellbeing, offering service users a chance to explore their potential and build Recovery Capital through theatre and the arts. Work with us to offer your clients a new path toward healing.

“OETC’s approach is a unique model as a dedicated and continuing service for adults. It is a company that continues to grow and innovate and attracts a more diverse user group than national averages for people in treatment. The feedback from service users demonstrates that workshops are strengthening their recovery and meeting individual goals.” —Hammersmith & Fulham Substance Misuse Commissioners

Help your clients access Outside Edge’s creative activities and support them to build Recovery Capital. If you’re working with someone who you think would benefit from our free weekly creative activities and diverse recovery community, you can refer them directly to us. Our team is experienced at working with people at all stages of their recovery, with dual diagnosis, and vulnerable adults accessing support services other than drug and alcohol treatment services.

Simply refer your clients and service users, and we’ll guide them through the enrollment process and support them to attend their first session. Alternatively, you can get in contact with us to find out more about our activities and ask any questions about referring our clients.

Interested in seeing how our creative activities can improve wellbeing? Outside Edge will come to your service to deliver a free, hour-long Drama, Dance or Creative Writing Taster Session for your clients.

Our Taster Sessions are based around the Five Ways to Wellbeing, using fun, fast-paced exercises to give participants an embodied experience of the benefits of a creative activity.

These sessions can also be delivered to substance misuse services, social prescribing teams and other health and care professionals as part of a staff away day or training day.
