Olivier award nominated playwright Isley Lynn to facilitate OETC’s summer 2024 intermediate script writing group, Write Two.

While detoxing in hospital, Shiv attended an OETC Taster Session and was surprised by how much the idea of drama interested him. He started attending OETC drop-in sessions, progressed to intermediate and advanced groups, which led to him working as an actor with the Royal Shakespeare Company and also working in a substance misuse service.

After seeing an OETC performance at a drug treatment centre, Sonya decided to join one of our creative workshops. From there, something clicked. She kept coming back, attended sessions, stepped onto the stage in our productions, and eventually wrote her own plays.
