February is already shaping up to be a busy and inspiring month at Outside Edge Theatre Company, and we’re excited to share what’s been happening on and off the stage. We kicked off the year with a brilliant January Masterclass led by Lucie Barât, where participants dug into Demystifying Classical Text and discovered new ways to approach some of theatre’s most enduring words. Coming up next, we’re thrilled to welcome Gemma Barnett for our February Masterclass on Performance Poetry—a chance to explore voice, rhythm and storytelling in bold, expressive ways.

Beyond our Masterclasses, we’re also looking forward to our first social event of the year: an Anti-Valentine’s get-together with an open-mic, inviting our community to share, perform or simply enjoy an evening of creativity together. Our next Script Club will feature the fantastic Arinzé Kene, offering insight and inspiration for anyone interested in writing for performance. And finally, a huge shout-out to the brilliant Visa employees who will be running the London Marathon to raise money for OETC—an incredible show of support that helps us keep creativity at the heart of recovery.
