Fitzrovia Community Centre, 2 Foley Street, W1W 6DL
Every Thursday 3:30pm – 5:30pm
Starting on Thursday 2nd April 2026
Women’s Drama Group is a creative community designed specifically for female-identifying participants affected by addiction, whether you’re on your own recovery journey or supporting someone affected by addiction. This is your space to explore drama, build connections and nurture your wellbeing in a safe, empowering environment.
You don’t need any prior experience of drama or acting to join. You’ll learn new skills and grow in confidence through fun drama games and creative exercises. Participants have the opportunity to co-create the design of the group, giving you a voice in shaping the experience while fostering peer support and personal creativity.
Our Women’s Drama Group offers more than just a creative outlet. It’s a chance to reconnect with yourself and others, all while enhancing your wellbeing. In these sessions, you will:
Boost your confidence – Discover your strengths and step into the spotlight, both on and off the stage.
Be part of a supportive community – Connect with other women who understand your journey in a safe, non-judgmental space.
Unleash your creativity – Use drama as a tool for self-expression and personal growth, exploring your potential in a fun and relaxed environment.
No matter where you are in your recovery, Women’s Drama Group provides a nurturing space to rediscover yourself, make new friends and explore your creativity.
After attending at least one session, Women’s Drama Group participants can sign-up to attend OETC’s Social Activities, such as free Theatre Club and Service User Social Events.
Please contact the OETC office team HERE for the Zoom links for these sessions.
OETC’s Abstinence Policy requires all participants to be abstinent on the day of attendance of any of our activities.
The generosity of these supporters and organisations keeps our Women’s Drama Group workshops going. Thank you!
