Peer-led Check-in is a space for Outside Edge service users to come together and support each other in their recovery journey. Run by our dedicated Peer Volunteers, this group is all about connection and wellbeing, providing a safe and welcoming environment where you can share your experiences, get support and feel part of a community that understands.
Each week, we mix things up! From script reading and quizzes to improv, mindfulness and wellbeing, there’s always something new to explore. Once a month, we bring everyone together for an in-person meet-up, a great chance to socialise with your recovery community.
Our Peer-led Check-in offers a unique peer-supported approach to recovery, focusing on wellbeing and mutual aid. By taking part in this group, you’ll:
Feel connected – Share your journey and listen to others in a supportive and understanding group.
Nurture your wellbeing – Take part in activities that support your mental and emotional health while having fun.
Build community – Meet up in person each month and strengthen the bonds within your recovery community.
Whether you’re looking for ongoing support or just want to check-in with others on a similar journey, Peer-led Check-in is a valuable space for recovery and wellbeing.
These sessions are open to service users who have attended at least one in-person drop-in session at Outside Edge.
OETC’s Abstinence Policy requires all participants to be abstinent on the day of attendance of any of our activities.
